JOIN A GROUP/VOLUNTEER
AKA Being God's Hands And Feet
There are many ways in which you can become involved with our community, on our campus or in out in the world. Below are some of them. If there’s something else you have an interest in and/or passion for, let us know. We welcome your presence!
Fill out our volunteer form to let us know where your interest and talents lie!
Worship
Our worship services are a community effort. The ALTAR GUILD makes sure all is ready for the worship service at the altar. USHERS assist people in getting seated as well as leading the congregation in the process for communion. GREETERS are friendly, welcoming faces as people arrive for the service. SOUND & VIDEO TECHS provide much-needed technical expertise for our sound and video system, as well as ensuring the livestream happens. Our LECTORS read assigned scripture verses for the week. And we have some talented singers and musicians who guide us in the singing!
Music
There are many ways to get involved with our wonderful music ministry! We have choirs for all ages, a Bell Choir, and our worship band "Revived". Check out our Music Ministry page for more information about all our musical groups.
Christian Ed
Do you have a heart for sharing the Gospel with others? Do you enjoy learning and growing with a community of others? We have a wide variety of programs for all ages in which you can learn and teach others of Christ’s love.
Personnel Committee
Do you have a background in Human Resource Management? If so, we could use your gifts on our personnel committee. This team helps to ensure that our hard-working ministry and office team members are getting the resources and benefits they need to do their jobs effectively.

Property Committee
These are the folks who take care of our campus! They get involved with things like painting, flooring, landscape maintenance - basically anything pertaining to keeping the property and buildings in good working order. This enables us to not only go about our various ministries but also to be able to share our facility with groups outside our congregation, such as AA, community choirs and musical groups, a Korean congregation, and a Finnish congregation.
Stewardship Committee
God gives us – individually and collectively – time, talent, and treasures; stewardship of these gifts is our response to God’s grace and builds faith. The ILC Stewardship Committee guides the congregation in this faith building process through teaching, encouraging, and leading.

Love Committee
You might consider this the activist arm of our congregation. This group’s focus is on bringing awareness to the congregation of ways in which we can continue becoming more intentionally and unconditionally loving. Learn more about us and consider joining us!
Library
Perhaps you love books! Maybe your talents lie in what it takes to help maintain our library. We have a wide variety of books, CDs, DVDs, and other periodicals that sometimes need some loving attention.

Finance Committee
If you’re good with numbers, the Finance Committee could use your expertise. This committee is responsible for the monthly review of the income and expenditures of the church and ensuring that they are compliant to the approved budget and financial policies of the church. This committee also prepares the annual budget for review by the church council and ultimate approval by the congregation at its’ annual meeting
