Share soup for someone's supper during Lent
Remember soup suppers during Lent? We may not have them at the church any more so here is an opportunity to share some soup for hungry families. The Local Mission Committee will be collecting cans of soup during Lent to give to Interfaith Community Services. A hot bowl of soup at night drives away hunger and contributes to a healthy life. When you next go shopping, pick up some extra cans of soup - preferably low-sodium - and bring them to church. Let's see how many soup suppers we can make possible during Lent.
