LIRS Hope for the Holidays Update

12-2-22 UPDATE: We signed and sent 69 cards total this year. Thanks again to everyone who participated.

11-25-22 UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who signed and donated holiday cards for our 2nd annual greeting card campaign! We have so many donated cards that we probably won't need more donations next year!

So far we have just over 50 cards signed and ready to send to children and families who will be living in detention centers during the holidays. That's 50+ people who will receive a message of love from one of you. So thank you very much to those who took a moment to sign one or more cards.

If you were unable to sign a card last Sunday, there is still a chance for you to do so. The instructions with suggested greetings are shown below. A box of unsigned cards will be on the table in the library, along with a box for completed cards. Sign as many cards as you wish. If you sign yours at home, deliver them to the church office or bring them with you on Sunday 11/27. That will be the last day signed cards will be collected. Visit LIRS Hope for the Holidays to learn more. Let’s let these parents and children know they’re not forgotten this holiday season!
