ILC Letter To The Congregation - January 13th, 2022

Love Intentionally

Love Inclusively

Love Universally

Love Completely

Love Everyone, always

Love Better!

January 13, 2022

Sisters and brothers, friends and neighbors, Good afternoon!

We are all now riding the wave of yet another surge in the pandemic, and many of us are not enjoying it at all! More than at any time in the past two years, a high number of our members and their families are being directly impacted by COVID 19 disease. Please keep them all in your prayers. Because this variant is proving to be statistically relatively mild (viz., not life threatening), and because it is literally everywhere anyway, we are not going to cease in person worship. However, we do want to ask everyone who intends to worship with us in person this weekend, to observe certain guidelines. These guidelines are not new, and are certainly intended to protect you, but as importantly, everyone around you.

1) If you are feeling at all unwell or potentially symptomatic, please remain at home and enjoy worship online.

2) If you are healthy and well, and you do come to worship in person, please wear your mask at all times while indoors.

3) Please exercise prudent social distancing while indoors and out, for everyone’s comfort and safety.

Please be in prayer for our 2022 Church Council, as we will be in retreat this weekend (albeit virtually…again…). It promises to be an exciting conversation about the future for our congregation and for ministry generally. More about that in coming days….

Stay well everyone!

Pr. Luther
