There weren't just a few of them. There was a constant stream of the little critters from the cabinet above the sink, across the counter, and into the pantry. ANTS! I hear that it is our hot weather that is causing them more and more to enter our homes, but now the church sacristy was invaded. The communion wafers or wine could have been easy targets, but they were inaccessible. They were taking away something that was not expected and frankly easier to obtain. In this week's Gospel, Jesus proclaims that he is "the living Bread" and that eternal life is for "Anyone who eats this Bread." But how then is eternal life available to us?
