One of the favorite books read to my sons when they were young was “Guess How Much I Love You” by Sam McBratney. The story features father and son rabbits, the Nutbrown Hares. When the little hare tries his best to demonstrate just how much he loves his father, the father then demonstrates in an even bigger way just how much he loves the little hare. We can relate to the love known between parent and child.
In John 15, we are invited into a loving relationship with God through our relationship with Christ Jesus. Trusting that God loves us is not always easy given all that we do to push God from our lives. But Jesus tells us that we are to “abide in” His love.
