COMMUNION

Take and eat; this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me.

Holy Communion is the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ given with

bread and wine, instituted by Christ himself for us to eat and drink.

~Martin Luther, "The Small Catechism"

We welcome all baptized Christians to Holy Communion.  We believe that in the bread and wine of this Sacrament we receive the Body and Blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation.  Children are welcome to receive the sacrament at the discretion of their parents.
