Congregational Meeting 12/11/22

We will have our Council election and the Council will present the 2023 budget. After many hours of deliberation the Church Council approved the 2023 budget below for consideration and approval by the congregation. Bread Day at TACO - 11/25/22
On Friday, November 25, our congregation will host BREAD DAY at TACO. This is a long-standing tradition at Third Avenue Charitable Organization. Using the funds donated by our congregation, we will provide, prepare, and serve a hot breakfast to many who are in need in San Diego. Sunday School moves to 10:00am beginning 11/27/22
Calling all Preschool-5th grade children Sunday School class for Preschool-5th grade children will be MOVING to a new time. Beginning Sunday, November 27, our EPIC classes will move to the time between services… 10:00-10:50. We will start with music in the room next to Parish Hall and then move to the Lighthouse for awesome bible stories, fun crafts and games. We are looking forward to seeing all our children at this different time for some EPIC fun!

LIRS Hope for the Holidays Update
12-2-22 UPDATE: We signed and sent 69 cards total this year. Thanks again to everyone who participated. 11-25-22 UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who signed and donated holiday cards for our 2nd annual greeting card campaign! We have so many donated cards that we probably won't need more donations next year! So far we have just over 50 cards signed and ready to send to children and families who will be living in detention centers during the holidays. That's 50+ people who will r
