LINK - Connected through Christ to grow and serve all in His image.
Incarnation’s Youth - Grades 6 -12
Each Sunday LINK meets from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for fellowship, discussion, and fun.
And we DO have fun!!
Our activities on Sunday evenings range from ridiculously fun games to snack feasts! The discussions cover a broad range of topics related to our every day lives as Christian youth.
We embrace Incarnation's vision statement, “Serving God in the service of all God’s people,” and are dedicated to service activities both at Incarnation and in our community. Through our service, our friendships and faith grow. We invite all 6th – 12th grade youth to join us on Sunday evenings and for any special activities. Feel free to bring along a friend.

Sandwich Night!
Incarnation’s youth group continues its effort to help the hungry with its monthly Sandwich Night. Each month the group foregoes the fun and games of their regular meetings to assemble and package over 100 sandwiches which are given to Interfaith Community Services (ICS). We know that the results of these Sandwich Nights are very appreciated and needed by ICS clients.
The youth put on the plastic gloves, and they make the sandwiches with love. Mustard for the sandwiches is frequently applied in the shape of a heart. It may not be a world-changing event, but the love this group demonstrates to make this happen each month is tremendous.

YARD WORK..
Youth and adults worked to clear weeds and tall dry grass from a yard. This was a very important service for the homeowner as fire season was approaching.
The Tradition Lives On!
Every Easter for years, the youth at Incarnation host an Easter Breakfast. The proceeds from this event fund our annual Bread Day Breakfast at Third Avenue Charitable Org. (TACO) in downtown San Diego. On the Friday following Thanksgiving we provide breakfast for those in need.
At our Easter event we typically serve over 175 people. This year the meal included pancakes, sausage,

Eight LCI youth, along with me and Mindy, were assigned to work the “gleaning station” where we proceeded to glean foods of all sorts, sorting them first by date and then by sight. Almost everything donated was “expired,” but the food bank had acceptable amounts of time that food would still be good for delivery to those in need.

We spent seven hours sorting through large pallets of breads, meats, fruits,
